Sisters Alexandra and Morgan Venison founded Genii to offer a more personalised, agile, and strategic approach to content and consulting. Having lived in Dubai since 2003 and grown up in the hospitality industry, they developed a deep understanding of brand experience and service excellence.

With careers spanning different sectors, they saw a gap in the market for a tailored, high-quality service that allows businesses to adapt quickly while maintaining consistency. By keeping Genii intentionally small and collaborating with a network of top-tier freelancers, they ensure every project receives specialised attention from start to finish.

Alexandra Venison is a wellness expert, editor, and content consultant with over two decades of experience in the region. Formerly Beauty Editor at Vogue Arabia and Online Editor at Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, she has worked with leading global and regional brands across beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.

She combines her editorial expertise with a deep understanding of holistic health, nutrition, and mind-body wellness, holding certifications from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the General Hypnotherapy Register, along with meditation and sound healing. With a passion for food, storytelling, and copywriting, she now focuses on creating impactful content and strategies that bridge the gap between science, creativity, and wellbeing.

Morgan Venison began her career in magazines before transitioning into PR, where she launched her own agency over a decade ago. She has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients, from local startups to globally recognised brands, including Huda Beauty, MAC Cosmetics, Tiffany & Co., Kohler, Caesars Palace, and Nova Clinic by Dr. Jaffer Khan. She also played a key role in shaping the success of Tania’s Teahouse, ranked the 7th most Instagrammable café in the world.

With a deep understanding of brand positioning and storytelling, Morgan brings a strategic and dynamic approach to every project. She is currently expanding her expertise in photography, videography, and editing, further strengthening her ability to create compelling, visually driven content.
